Orzechy piniowe są jadalnymi nasionami uzyskiwanymi z szyszek sosny. Ten specyficzny gatunek sosny występuje w krajach śródziemnomorskich, a odmiany dające najszlachetniejsze owoce rosną w rejonie Toskanii.
